BUILT IN 1939 BY CAMMEL LAIRD. 3-DRUM BOILERS, TURBINE ENGINES OF 19000SHP FOR 27.5 KNOTS, TWIN SHAFT. FOUR 4 INCH GUNS, EIGHT SMALLER. DURING THE DIEPPE RAID RECEIVED A DIRECT HIT BY A HEAVY BOMB WHICH BROKE HER BACK AND FLOODED THE ENGINE ROOM. 15 RATINGS LOST. (DODS).
