Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck Oifjeld sank 6 miles off Dieppe in the English Channel. The official wreck position is recorded at coordinates 50 2.033 N, 1 4.903 E. Historical hydrographic surveys from the UK Hydrographic Office previously classified the site as a dangerous wreck with positioning updates noted in French and UK Notices to Mariners. Following further chart evaluations and French wreck records, the obstruction was officially deleted and marked as non-valid.
