Circumstances of loss
WAS PART OF GERMAN 4TH SCOUTING GROUP DURING BATTLE OF JUTLAND. WHEN CLOSELY ENGAGED BY BRITISH 2ND LIGHT CRUISER SQUADRON, SHE WAS SUNK BY A TORPEDO FIRED BY HMS SOUTHAMPTON. THERE WERE NO SURVIVORS.
