BUILT 1895 BY A.G. WESER, BREMEN, WITH TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINES OF 6000IHP CAPABLE OF 20.5 KNOTS. TORPEDOED AND SUNK BY BRITISH SUBMARINE E.9. TOOK AN HOUR TO SINK. ALL BUT 2 OF 178 CREW WERE PICKED UP BY GERMANTRAWLERS. (DODS, WARSHIPS OF WW1, DEUTSCHE KRIEGSSCHIFFE [DIAGRAMS OF VESSEL]).
