The shipwreck Florida is a historical underwater obstruction located off the coast of Bejaia, Algeria, at geographical coordinates 36 44.883 N, 5 5.183 E. Originally identified as a vessel aground on its beam ends and visible above high water, the wreck was officially reported as cleared and removed from the seabed in 1947. This site, previously documented by the UK Hydrographic Office, no longer poses a navigational hazard as all structural remains were lifted from the location. Historical records confirm the wreck was successfully salvaged and the obstruction removed from the maritime chart.
