Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck site located at coordinates 8 28.886 N, 13 11.55 W near the coast of Sierra Leone. Historical survey records previously identified a fishing vessel wreckage at this position with its bow facing north on the foreshore, historically associated with the HMS Beagle. However, follow-up surveys conducted in February 2019 confirmed that no remains are currently visible or detectable at this specific location. The site is officially classified as dead in the UK Hydrographic Office records, indicating the wreck has either been removed, disintegrated, or shifted. This location is now considered clear of underwater obstructions.
