Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater obstruction report for position 60 23.015 N, 0 58.577 W located in the North Sea near the Shetland Islands. This site was originally identified following a fishing vessel report of snagged gear on a seabed fastener. Historical survey data from 2004 classified the obstruction as a foul area. Subsequent high-resolution multibeam echosounder surveys conducted in 2017 failed to detect any physical wreckage or structural remains at these coordinates. Consequently, the obstruction record has been amended to dead status, indicating the site is no longer considered a navigational hazard or a detectable underwater wreck.
