Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck CAP 3173 is located at coordinates 34 38.05 S, 58 7.5 W in the Rio de la Plata estuary near Buenos Aires. Historical records from the UK Hydrographic Office indicate that this obstruction was formerly marked by a green conical light buoy and an unlit buoy. The wreck CAP 3173 was officially removed and cleared from the site in 1956. This location is no longer considered an underwater obstruction for maritime navigation.
