The underwater shipwreck known as Caledonia is located at coordinates 57 29.987 N, 1 13.106 W in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland. Originally reported after sinking in October 1979 and initially charted as a dangerous wreck with a least depth of 80 meters, subsequent high-resolution multibeam sonar surveys conducted in September 2010 by Gardline Hydro failed to locate the obstruction, leading to its official removal from hydrographic charts.
