The shipwreck Stella Marie is located in the North Sea off the northeast coast of Scotland near Moray Firth at coordinates 57 28.987 N, 1 19.105 W. Sunk on April 11, 1987, the site was historically designated as a dangerous underwater obstruction with a least depth of 105 meters. During hydrographic surveys conducted in September 2010 by Gardline Hydro, multibeam sonar searches failed to locate the wreckage, leading authorities to update the database status as dead while maintaining standard navigational safety warnings for mariners in the area.
