UK Hydrographic Office wreck details for the Blue Sonata located at coordinates 50 36.536 N, 2 22.272 W near Portland. The shipwreck was originally reported sunk on September 8, 2005, and subsequently located with a least echo sounder depth of 16 meters in a general depth of 19.8 meters. Official confirmation from the Marine and Coastguard Agency and maritime authorities confirmed that the wreck of the Blue Sonata was successfully lifted and removed in October 2005.
