Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater shipwreck located at coordinates 50 35.221 N, 2 25.266 W off the coast of Dorset near Weymouth and Portland. This underwater obstruction, identified as a probable barge or Admiralty workboat, was examined in March 2008. The wreckage lies in an upright and intact position on the seabed, oriented 135/315 degrees with bows facing southeast, although the stern appears to be missing. The structure has a least multibeam depth of 11.86 meters in a general depth of 13.23 meters. Dimensions of the wreck are 11.88 meters in length, 2.91 meters in width, and 1.37 meters in height, with no reported scour. It is charted as a wreck with a depth of 11.8 meters.
