Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck discovered near Weymouth and Portland, Dorset, located at coordinates 50 34.411 N, 2 24.985 W. This well-preserved maritime obstruction is identified as a landing craft lying intact and upright on the seabed. Measuring 26.72 meters in length, 6.59 meters in width, and 5.00 meters in height, the vessel is oriented 005/185 degrees with the bow facing north, positioned parallel to the local breakwater. Surveyed depth data indicates a least multi-beam depth of 11.32 meters within a general depth of 16.32 meters. Scour patterns extend 3 meters at the stern and starboard quarter. The site was examined using DGPS and is charted as a wreck with a 11.3-meter clearance.
