Underwater wreck Ayias 11 located off the coast of Messinia Greece in the Ionian Sea. The wreck position is recorded at coordinates 36 57.25 N 21 41.02 E. Historical surveying data from the UK Hydrographic Office tracks the site evolution from an initial dangerous wreck with masts identified in 1968 to a documented obstruction and foul area. By 1997 the Ayias 11 was classified as a submerged wreck with a least depth of 9.0 meters. The site remains a significant underwater obstruction for maritime navigation in the region near Khelones Light.
