Simplified Wreck Survey
Historic UK Hydrographic Office survey records for the underwater shipwreck ALEXANDRA located at coordinates 51 16.05 N, 4 18 E. Initial 1941 reports note conical buoys laid to mark the wreck after masts were removed, with 8 meters of water above it at low water. Subsequent surveys through the 1950s and 1960s tracked the position updates and depth changes, noting the wreck charted at varying depths including 3 fathoms and later 6.4 to 6.5 meters. Clearance operations and salvage work were officially recorded in 1974, leading to the deletion of the wreck from navigational charts.
