Historical survey records indicate this dangerous obstruction was initially reported as a non-dangerous wreck in 1917 and later amended with a least depth of 20.0 meters. Subsequent hydrographic surveys noted that the site lies within a fishing area exclusion zone and was not located during multibeam sonar searches, leading to its classification as a dead wreck.
