Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck Al Rubayia is located at coordinates 18 57.45 N, 72 52.36 E off the coast of India in the Arabian Sea. Initially reported in September 1985 as a submerged obstruction and later marked by a green conical light buoy flashing every five seconds, the vessel was noted to lie upright and awash at high water. Following subsequent salvage operations, the wreck and its marking buoy were officially withdrawn and deleted from hydrographic charts in June 1986.
