Originally reported as a dangerous underwater obstruction to navigation in 1946, the vessel was marked by a wreck buoy near the South Burford Buoy. Historical survey data notes the yacht's mast was visible at low water before the obstruction was officially dispersed later that year. Subsequent hydrographic assessments conducted in 2004 determined the site no longer poses a hazard to shipping, and the area is currently classified as a foul ground on nautical charts rather than an active wreck.
