BUILT 1911 BY ROPNER & SONS LTD, STOCKTON-ON-TEES. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY CARLTON SS CO LTD. THREE BOILERS, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 410 NHP, SINGLE SHAFT. MACHINERY BLAIR & CO LTD, STOCKTON-ON-TEES. PASSAGE BIRKENHEAD FOR LOUGH SWILLY. TORPEDOED BUT REMAINED AFLOAT. TOWED TO ANCHORAGE IN DUBLIN BAY WHERE SHE FILLED AND SANK. LATER SUCESSFULLY PUMPED OUT AND SALVED. (SIBI).
