Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck and obstruction report for location 53 20.059 N, 6 5.367 W situated in the Irish Sea off the coast of Dublin. This site was initially identified as an underwater object during surveys conducted between 1999 and 2005 with a general depth of 8 meters and dimensions measuring 1.5 meters in length and 0.5 meters in height. Following subsequent investigation by the Bathy Data Centre, the Geological Survey of Ireland and the Dublin Harbour Master, this obstruction was officially classified as a non-existent feature or data spike and has been designated as dead in hydrographic records. The location is currently marked as having no scour or significant structural debris and is no longer considered a navigational hazard.
