Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck known as Treasure was historically located off the coast of Lerwick, Scotland, in the Shetland Islands. The wreck was officially recorded at coordinates 60 11.085 N, 1 8.633 W. Initial surveys identified the wreck lying in a rock gulley with a least echo sounder depth of 20.7 meters within a general depth area of 19 to 21 meters. Following subsequent investigation and verification, it was confirmed that the wreck was removed. The site was formally deleted from hydrographic charts as of 2009 after confirmation from the Lerwick Harbour Master. The wreck is no longer considered a navigational obstruction at this location.
