Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck located approximately 2 miles east of Bray Head, Ireland, at coordinates 53 11.187 N, 6 2.56 W. This submerged obstruction, historically identified as the remains of an old steamship or wooden trawler/drifter, lies at a general depth of 22 to 28 meters. The wreck site features structural remains including a boiler, an engine, and iron deck coaming, with no visible hull sections remaining. The wreckage stands approximately 3.5 meters high and covers an area of 15 by 4 meters. The wreck is oriented in an east-west direction and is charted as a dangerous underwater obstruction to navigation.

NO VISIBLE REMAINS OF HULL. PROBABLY WK OF WOODEN TRAWLER OR DRIFTER. WRECKAGE STANDS 3.5MTRS HIGH AND EXTENDS 15 X 4MTRS, APPROX. (I TUNSTEAD, FAX 27.8.92). INS AS WKPA 22MTRS.
