Simplified Wreck Survey
Underwater wreck survey details for the TINA PRIMO located off the coast of Kent in the North Sea/English Channel. The wreck is situated at coordinates 51 20.743 N, 01 44.330 E. Comprehensive hydrographic surveys confirm the vessel is lying upright and remains largely intact. Structural dimensions recorded in 2018 indicate the wreck has a length of 128.7 meters, a width of 27.6 meters, and a height of 16.6 meters. The least depth over the wreck is 26.31 meters within a general seabed depth of 43 meters. The vessel is oriented on a 090/270 degree heading. Scour analysis shows a scour length of 137 meters with a depth of 3.9 meters towards 025 degrees. The site shows significant magnetic anomalies, consistent with its metal structure, and the wreck is noted as being partially buried in the seabed. Previous survey data dating back to 1940 identifies the site as a significant underwater obstruction frequently monitored by the UK Hydrographic Office and various Royal Navy survey vessels including HMS Franklin, HMS Fawn, and HMS Beagle. Historical reports describe the wreck as lying on its keel with no evidence of scattered debris.
