Simplified Wreck Survey

The wreck known as THE STEWARTS COURT was historically reported in the North Sea off the coast of County Durham, located 4 meters south-southeast of Seaham Harbour. Despite initial reports placing the wreck at coordinates 54 47.057 N, 1 15.097 W, extensive modern hydrographic surveys conducted in 1988 and again between 2017 and 2018 failed to locate any structural remains or debris at this position. Following a thorough multi-beam sonar investigation by Clinton Marine Survey and previous historical analysis, the obstruction has been officially disproved, considered dead, and removed from maritime navigational charts. No evidence of a welded steel structure or underwater wreckage exists at these coordinates.
