Underwater wreck TA 017 is a recorded maritime obstruction positioned at coordinates 0° 56' S, 103° 46' E (00° 56' 00" S, 103° 46' 00" E) in the Riau Archipelago waters off the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. Initially reported sunk in April 1992 according to DG SEACOM notices, the site was designated as a dangerous wreck with an approximate position. The submerged site contains the remains of a sunken vessel, potentially consisting of a welded steel structure that may be well broken on the seabed over time. Hydrographic evaluations from the UK Hydrographic Office in July 2005 noted that while the wreck was not shown on the September 2002 edition of Indonesian Chart 41, it remains likely that the underwater wreck still exists in these waters.
