BUILT IN 1960 BY N.V.KON. MAATS ''DE SCHELDE''. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY KOLANDIA MARITIME CORPORATION, LTD. PASSAGE JAPAN FOR DAMMAN. REPORTED A LEAK IN THE ENGINE ROOM DUE TO HEAVY WEATHER. VESSEL WAS DIVERTED TO BOMBAY, WHERE SHE ANCHORED IN OUTER APPROACHES. TUGS WERE UNABLE TO COPE WITH LEAKAGES, VESSEL WAS ABANDONED BY CREW AND SANK. (MSD).
