Simplified Wreck Survey
Underwater Wreck Report 51 2.841 N 1 14.931 E located in the English Channel off the coast of Kent. This maritime obstruction is a known cargo ship wreck situated in approximately 21 meters of water. Survey data from 2010 confirms the wreck lies at coordinates 51 2.841 N, 1 14.931 E with a least depth of 17.98 meters. The structure measures 65 meters in length and 12 meters in width with a height of 2.5 meters above the seabed. The wreck is broken close to the stern and the majority of the superstructure is no longer visible, with hull collapse observed behind the bow. Scour patterns extend approximately 2.5 meters deep from the northwest bow end. Earlier historical survey reports from 1982 identify the remains as a cargo steamship with a beam of 25 feet, though subsequent examinations suggest the site contains fragmented wreckage oriented along a 120/300 degree axis. This wreck remains a navigational feature for mariners and hydrographic records identify it as a charted obstruction.
