This underwater obstruction, which sank in 1979 at a bearing of 135 degrees from Folkestone Harbour, lies at a depth of 3.2 meters. Historical surveying records indicate the wreck is not considered a danger to surface navigation. Subsequent underwater surveys conducted in 2016 by Gardline failed to locate the BARRACUDA within the multi-beam dataset, leading to the wreck status being amended to dead. This historic site remains a point of interest for maritime records near the Kent coastline.
