Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck obstruction located at coordinates 51 1.99 N, 1 15.089 E near the Dover coast. This submerged hazard was originally reported by a fishing vessel that encountered a hard snag on a seabed object. While historical nautical charts listed this site as foul, subsequent hydrographic surveys conducted in 2012 and 2016 using multibeam sonar data failed to locate any structural wreckage or debris at this position. Given the lack of evidence in modern multibeam datasets, the obstruction is considered non-existent and marked as dead. Mariners navigating the waters off Dover should be aware that no physical wreck remains at these coordinates.
