Surveying Details HH308/350/01 24.9.91 CONCRETE BASE OF N SEA GAS PLATFORM. SANK QUICKLY IN GANDAFJORD WHERE IT WAS BEING CONSTRUCTED. STRUCK SEABED WITH SUCH MOMENTUM THAT ENTIRE STRUCTURE COLLAPSED AND NOW LYING IN A HEAP IN DEPTH 200MTRS [ONE REPORT STATES 270MTRS]. (LL, 24 & 27.8.91). IT WAS ALSO REPORTED THAT THE SHOCK WAVE FELT WHEN THE STRUCTURE STRUCK THE SEABED REGISTERED 2.7 ON THE RICHTER SCALE! HH308/350/02 19.12.91 REMAINS OF WK COVER AN AREA 180MTRS RADIUS CENTRED ON 585512N, 054600E APPROX.
