Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck Sarah Lena is an underwater obstruction located off the coast of Scotland near the Isle of Skye in the Minch at coordinates 57 34.57 N, 6 24.861 W. Sunk in September 2010, the wreck was examined in October 2010 using DGPS. The site features a least multibeam depth of 60.88 meters in a general depth of 66 meters with no scour present. The structure measures 12.4 meters in length, 8 meters in width, and has a height of 6.0 meters, lying on an orientation of 085/265 degrees with the bows facing east. The remains consist of the bow and main cabin only, featuring a mast standing upwards, with debris scattered 100 meters to the west. Charted depths over the wreck have been revised to approximately 59.5 to 60 meters.
