Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck Ben Aigen is located off the coast of Scotland near Stornoway at coordinates 57 36.85 N, 6 29.588 W. Originally sinking in July 1978 in a general depth of 42 fathoms, the site was surveyed in September 2010 using DGPS. The remains lie 135 meters southeast of the originally listed location and are described as very broken up and hardly distinguishable as a wreck, appearing as possible wreck debris with a least multibeam depth of 55.19 meters in a general depth of 56 meters, measuring 7 meters in length with a height of 1.2 meters and no scour.
