Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck known as Alexanders is located off the coast of Eilean Trodday in Scotland at coordinates 57 43.446 N, 6 18.231 W. Historical hydrographic surveys detail the remains of this trawler, which originally lay on its starboard side with bows facing south. Over time, the structure has become highly broken up and scattered. While the main hull is largely submerged, portions of the wreck including the engine and prop shaft dry by about 2 meters at low water springs within a local inlet. The immediate underwater area is heavily littered with fragments of wreckage and scattered pieces of broken equipment within a 50-meter radius, leaving little visible from the surface aside from the drying engine remains.
