Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck SABBIA is located in the North Sea off the coast of Fife, Scotland, at coordinates 56 3.555 N, 2 17.08 W. This underwater obstruction sits in a general depth of 52 meters, with a least echo-sounder depth of 41.1 meters. The wreck measures 102 meters in length and 32 meters in width. Divers have confirmed the wreck is upright and intact, oriented on a 160/340 degree heading. Structural observations indicate the bow is flattened with a large anchor, the midships is twisted, and the stern remains intact. The site is recognized as the SABBIA, a vessel mined approximately 7 miles southeast of May Island.

ANIDSHIPS WAS TWISTED, THE ONE BOILER SIGHTED WAS TRANVERSE TO THE LINE OF SHIP. HOLDS ARE ON AN EVEN KEEL. STERN IS INTACT AND LIES TO STBD, SPLIT FROM THE MAIN DECK BUT IN LINE WITH THE SHIP.
