NO HELP RECEIVED AS INCORRECT CALLSIGN SET AND SENT VIA SATELLITE DISTRESS SYSTEM. PASSAGE LIMASSOL TO LATTAKIA. LATER CONSIDERED TO HAVE BEEN SCUTTLED AFTER CARGO OF SEEDS TRANSFERRED TO MV MARIVAN IN SUEZ. CONSIDERED THAT NO ONE WAS KILLED.
