Primrose shipwreck details and survey history located at coordinates 56 35.742 N, 2 15.095 W off the coast of Scotland near Tod Head. The UK Hydrographic Office historical records show this maritime loss was originally documented from British Merchant Shipping Losses in 1917. Subsequent hydrographic surveys including sonar searches by HMS Beagle in 1969 and multibeam bathymetry by Gardline Hydro in 2008 failed to locate the underwater obstruction, leading authorities to classify the wreck record as dead and non-dangerous.
