Simplified Wreck Survey

HMS BRACONBURN shipwreck details off the east coast of Scotland in the North Sea at coordinates 56 34.993 N, 2 10.096 W. Historical hydrographic survey records show this underwater obstruction was investigated by HMS Beagle in September 1969. A subsequent multibeam sonar survey conducted by Gardline Hydro in June 2008 attempted to locate the wreck but it was not found, indicating the site may be well broken or largely dispersed.
