Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater Wreck PAB located at coordinates 11 07.7 N, 72 44.4 E sank in the Arabian Sea near the Lakshadweep region. This submerged obstruction was charted following hydrographic surveys under reference H2115/75 with position details reported via Navarea VIII 440/85 and Notice to Mariners NM 2593/85. The exact position of the wreck was subsequently repeated and verified in December 1985 under NM 510/85.

BUILT IN 1962 BY A/S FREDRIKSSTAD M/V, FREDRIKSTAD. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY DEBRALINAS NAVIGATION SA. PASSAGE VITORIA, BRAZIL FOR CHITTAGONG. DEVELOPED LEAKAGE DURING HEAVY WEATHER AND SANK. CREW RECOVERED. (MSD).
