Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck survey report for the obstruction located at coordinates 58 51.937 N, 2 21.521 W in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland. This underwater wreck site was examined on August 12, 2006, using DGPS positioning. The wreck is characterized as being well broken up and difficult to define structurally. It measures 49 meters in length, 9 meters in width, and has a height of 6 meters. A multibeam echo sounder survey recorded a least depth of 73.0 meters in an area with a general depth of 79 meters, showing no evidence of seafloor scour. The vessel lies on a 157/337 degree axis with the bow pointing northwest. A floating line is attached to the bow of the wreckage. The site is cataloged as a charted wreck at a depth of 73 meters.
