Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck located at 59 4.8 N, 9 58.1 W in the deep waters of the North Atlantic Ocean west of Scotland. This sunken obstruction lies at an approximate depth of 1100 meters. The wreck was identified and documented by HMS Glasgow on June 11, 1993, using transit satellite navigation and Decca positioning systems. Due to its extreme depth, this site is not charted for surface navigation. The underwater wreck remains a significant feature on the seabed in this region of the North Atlantic.
