Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck Roumanie is an underwater obstruction located at coordinates 58 34 N, 9 12 W in the Atlantic Ocean between the Faroe Islands and the Butt of Lewis. Historical naval records from 1975 and 1976 initially reported the sinking position near St Kilda, though hydrographic assessments determined the site was too deep and the location too vague for nautical charting. Additional positional data was recorded in 2004.
