Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater wreck located at latitude 50 38.821 N, longitude 0 23.496 W in the English Channel off the south coast of England. Historical hydrographic surveys describe the site as approximately 75 meters long with a 25-meter beam, oriented north to south. Initial surveys from 1990 identified the wreckage using trisponder and side-scan sonar, noting it was partially embedded in the seabed with little to no vertical height. Subsequent hydrographic surveys conducted in 2002 and 2018 failed to locate the obstruction within an area of heavy dredging, resulting in the wreck being classified as dead, disproved, and not found in modern multibeam bathymetry datasets.
