Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater obstruction and wreck details located at coordinates 50 39.094 N, 0 32.312 W. Historical surveys initially located a small wreck measuring 13 meters by 1.5 meters high with an east-west orientation, lying in a general depth of 22 meters with a least echo sounder depth of 20.5 meters. Subsequent examinations using DGPS recorded the position at 50 39.094 N, 0 32.312 W, noting a least depth of 21.0 meters in a general depth of 23 meters, swept clear at 20.9 meters and foul at 21.2 meters, described as a small partially buried wooden wreck measuring 10 by 10 meters with no scour or magnetic anomaly. The site was re-examined in 2018 using multibeam data, where it was not located as a wreck and was instead identified as a natural rock outcrop, leading to the wreck record being amended as dead.
