Simplified Wreck Survey

Located in the North Sea off the east coast of Scotland at coordinates 56 47.771 N, 0 58.942 W, this unidentified underwater wreck lies upright on the seabed at a general depth of 69.3 meters. Hydrographic surveys conducted by Gardline Hydro using DGPS and multibeam sonar confirm a large, intact vessel measuring approximately 70 meters in length, 13 meters in width, and standing 8.6 meters high, with a least depth of 60.7 meters over the structure. The hull lies on an orientation of 055/235 degrees with its bow pointing northeast and a collapsed stern. A significant seabed scour reaching 2.5 meters in depth extends 220 meters along a north-south axis. Debris extends 20 meters westward from the stern, while an additional 25-meter line of linear debris projects northwest from the center of the wreck. The site is officially cataloged by the UK Hydrographic Office as an underwater wreck obstruction with a charted clearance depth of 60 meters.
