Simplified Wreck Survey

The shipwreck Nordaas is an underwater obstruction located approximately 30 miles east of Aberdeen in the North Sea at coordinates 56 58 N, 1 7 W. Sunk during World War One as recorded in Lloyd's War Losses, historical records place the wreck off the coast of Aberdeenshire. Modern hydrographic surveys by the UK Hydrographic Office and Gardline Survey indicate the site was not located by multibeam sonar, leading to its classification as dead or non-existent in current surveying details.
