(MR JESSOP) CONFIRMATION OF WK NEEDED BEFORE CHART ACTION, MAY BE A PUFFER NAMED 'NORA' & NOT THE 'NORA PUFFER'. POSN 550052N, 050715W FOR FILING ONLY. H1286/75/305 4.8.75 CONFIRMED WRECKAGE IN 550052N, 0050715W. SCATTERED FROM 5FT-20FT CLOSE TO SHORE. ONE BOILER STILL INTACT. VARIOUS RODS & GIRDERS STREWN ON SEABED. FAIR AMOUNT OF SMALL COKE STREWN OVERSEABED, NOT KNOWN IF FROM CARGO OR ENGINE ROOM. (A LAW, 31.7.75). H1288/75 18.3.76 LOOKS AS THOUGH THIS WK HAS BEEN DISPERSED. HALF THE BOILER LIES ON ITS OWN ABOUT 50MTRS OFF SHORE. IRON PROPELLOR, THE SHAFT & PART OF THE STERN LIE ABOUT 25MTRS SE OF THE BOILER. THE PROPELLER ETC. MAKE UP THE HIGHEST POINT STANDING APPROXIMATELY 3MTRS IN GENERAL DEPTH 6MTRS. WK AREA IS MAINLY VERY ROCKY & COVERED IN THICK KELP. THE REST OF THE WRECKAGE LIES AT THE MOUTH OF A GULLY OPPOSITE THE BOILER [SOUTH] & CONSISTS MAINLY OF A MASS OF PLATES & GIRDERS. (P C MILLER, 18.2.76). NCA.
