The shipwreck of the steamer LAIRDSHELM is a historically recorded underwater obstruction located off the coast of Portpatrick in Scotland near the Firth of Clyde at coordinates 55 0.503 N, 5 3.068 W. Originally sunk around December 1929 approximately 2.5 miles from the Caun HD lighthouse, salvage and dispersal operations were carried out by James Gush and Co of Greenock throughout 1930. By July 1932, the Northern Lighthouse Board confirmed that the wreck and its associated light buoy had been completely removed.
