BUILT IN 1958. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY CIA NAV EPSILON, SA. PASSAGE FOR CALCUTTA AND THE USA. RAN AGROUND ON SUVADIVA ATOLL, MALDIVES. WAS EVENTUALLY BLASTED IN TWO AFTER A FIRE CAUSED SEVERE DAMAGE TO SUPERSTRUCTURE & ENGINE ROOM. THE AFTER SECTION OF VESSEL WAS TOWED AWAY TO BREAKERS. (MSD).
