BUILT IN 1982 BY INDUSTRIAS RUNIDAS CANECO SA, RIO DE JANEIRO. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY EMPRESA DE NAVEGACAO MERCANTIL SA. PASSAGE PORT KAISER AND AARDALSTANGEN FOR SUNNDALSORA. SHUT DOWN ENGINE TO ALLOW PILOT TO DISEMBARK BETWEEN FEDJE AND HOLMENGRA LIGHTHOUSES. IT FAILED TO RESTART. STRONG CURRENTS AND 40KNOT WIND PUSHED VESSEL AGROUND AND SHE SUBSEQUENTLY BROKE IN TWO. (MSD).
