Simplified Wreck Survey
The shipwreck Marie-Anne is an underwater obstruction located at coordinates 46 9.192 N, 1 15.18 W. Historically documented by the UK Hydrographic Office and French nautical authorities, the wreck has undergone several depth surveys and positional updates since its initial discovery in 1947. Over the decades, the depth over the wreck has been recorded at various measurements, including 1.75 fathoms, 3.3 meters, and a later update establishing the least depth at 2.5 meters. The site has historically been marked by various navigational aids, including east and west buoys, red buoys, and an east cardinal pillar light buoy flashing Q(3)10S positioned close to the east of the wreck.
